Nintendo has nothing at the E3 show in Los Angeles, but announcements could be made in a few weeks despite everything. The rumor of two new Switch models is starting again.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Nintendo may have bypassed the E3 show in Los Angeles in part because of political tensions between China and the United States.
According to employees familiar with the matter, Nintendo has made the choice to outsource the production of its Switch outside of China. Nintendo's objective is to circumvent the embargoes imposed by the USA on China and thereby maintain its production lines. It is in Southeast Asia that Nintendo has launched production of its two new machines.
The Wall Street Journal thus insists that Nintendo would have outsourced the production of its current machine, but also that of the two machines expected for the next few months. Recall that it would be a question of a higher-end machine and another more resistant and 100% oriented towards nomadic use.
