PodCase is the name of a new shell with rather interesting features. In addition to protecting and charging the iPhone, it can also charge wireless headphones AirPods Apple.
Apple launched its first phones with no jacks last year. These are obviously the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. Shortly after the release of these models, the apple brand unveiled wireless headphones, the AirPods. The latter have an autonomy of approximately 5 hours and are recharged thanks to a small box. If the user does not want to clutter up the recharging box, he can opt for the PodCase shell.
The PodCase is a case for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. A version for the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus is on the program, but it will be available later in the year. Like other models already on the market, it can charge the apple brand phone. The accessory has a USB-C prot, which makes it compatible with the latest MacBook Pro. Its other particularity is the presence of a location to receive the AirPods. The user will be able to store his headphones behind his phone.
The shell is not yet available on the market. Indeed, it is still at the project stage on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter. We owe this initiative to the manufacturer of connected watches Pebble. If the funding goal is reached before Saturday, October 7, 2017, the PodCase will be available at $ 79 for project participants and $ 99 for the general public.
