Poco F2: Xiaomi teases the successor of the Pocophone F1

The Poco F2, the smartphone that will succeed the Pocophone F1, is in the starting blocks. More than two years later, Poco, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, is finally preparing to offer a successor to its illustrious flagship killer. A teaser video dedicated to the phone has also been posted. Remember: in September 2018, Poco released the Pocophone F1, a mid-range smartphone equipped with a solid technical sheet. Thanks to its excellent battery life, high-end performance, a very good camera and exceptional value for money, the Pocophone F1 quickly made an impression.

Despite several rumors and rumors, Poco has never offered a real successor to his illustrious firstborn. The Indian brand was content to market low cost variants, whose technical sheet was far from being at the height of the Pocophone F1. The first information on the Poco F2 arrives

Nevertheless, the expectations of fans of the brand are finally coming to an end. On December 31, 2020, Poco’s official Indian account posted a retrospective video of the year on Twitter. The sequence briefly mentions the name “Poco F2” in the last few seconds. It therefore seems that a real successor to the Pocophone F1 (titled Poco F1 in India) is in the boxes of the firm.

For now, information about this future Pocophone is still scarce. According to rumors circulating on the web, the Poco F2 is built aroundan AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On the back side, we would find a quadruple photo sensor whose technical sheet is still a mystery.

The smartphone would be powered by the Snapdragon 732G, a mid-range SoC in line with the 730G. Engraved in 8 nm and equipped with an Adreno 618, the chipset is dedicated to terminals designed for gaming. Autonomy would be entrusted to a 4250mAh battery.
