Launched last October, the Pixel 3 are less efficient than the flagship models of 2018. According to a test carried out on Geekbench, Lite versions won’t get any better. The platform tested a device with the name “Foxconn Pixel 3 XL”. He obtained a score of 5790 in multicore.

As a reminder, the iPhone 2018 exceeded the 10,000 point mark while the Pixel 3XL topped out at 7684. The site reveals that the smartphone would run Android 9. It would be based on a Snapdragon 710 coupled with 6 GB of RAM.

According to this information, Google would use a Qualcomm mid-range processor on the Lite models. It is not as fast as the Snapdragon 845. For its part, Apple has taken a different approach. The same component equips iPhone XR and XS.

In view of these results, potential buyers hope that the Pixel 3 Lite would be significantly more affordable than the standard versions. For the moment, the Mountain View company has not provided any details on this project.
