According to a new report by DigiTimes, suppliers ofApple have recently started delivery of components for iPhone next generation, and Pegatron Technology would take half the orders for the 4.7-inch model.
In other words, Pegatron will be responsible, according to supply chain sources, for supplying 25 million of the estimated 50 million 4.7-inch iPhone 6s before the end of this year.A few weeks ago, we learned that Foxconn Electronics had won all of Apple’s orders for the new 5.5-inch iPhone 6 and 70% of orders for the 4.7-inch model. Information of the day suggests that deliveries for the 4.7-inch models were ultimately split equally between Pegatron and Foxconn.
Thanks to the numerous orders from the Cupertino firm, Pegatron should achieve impressive results in the fourth quarter. Indeed, the latter would constitute at least a 30% share of the company’s revenues.
