PassBook is revealed via a manipulation

The site PassSource.com Unblocks the functionality of the PassBook application in the second beta version of iOS 6.

While the new PassBook functionality has so far remained the most mysterious in iOS 6, a website allows, with a little manipulation to discover the beginnings of this new service. Better still, it allows you to unlock all of its features! The feat was made possible since the arrival last night, from the second beta version of iOS 6. As curious as it may seem, the website PassSource.com has started to make itself known on the web since it claims to “release” the PassBook functionality that was originally bridged since the first beta version of iOS 6. Once the manipulation has been easily carried out (see video below), the app allows you to create an unlimited number of coupons that you want with, in addition, the possibility to customize them: name and logo of the business, background color, photo, discount (if it is a promotion, cities arrival and departure times (for a boarding pass), credit remaining (the service offers several coffee channels), etc.

As soon as the coupon is created, it is immediately transferred to the PassBook “catalog”. The merchant will only have to scan it using a displayed QR code.

The catalog of the app is divided into several categories (cafes, restaurants, hotels, airports). Each gnr coupon immediately joins its category according to its proposed service. It is also possible to “flip” the cards to set the notifications and whether or not they are on the locked screen depending on the time and place.

Recall that the potential comes from NFC technology on the iPhone suggests multiple possibilities for the PassBook application including the possibility of exchanging information in the immediate vicinity but also, the possibility of carrying out transactions with merchants.

We discuss it on the forum.
