according to Techradar, the Orange group is about to launch a new smartphone – under its own brand – and it would ship the Android OS.
This smartphone – which would have the project code name JAL – would be launched in the same line concept than existing devices from Orange’s competitors, such as the Vodafone 845 and T-Mobile Pulse Mini.
According to the information received, the device would be fully tactile (no physical keyboard), would carry a 3 mgapixel camera, full connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS) and would include its own services such as reproach cards , Messenger, as well as its online store of apps, all running Android.
The device is planned to be marketed soon (no date of availability available) but it seems that it is initially available in the United Kingdom at a price between 100 – 150 (around 150) and sold in formula with prepaid card.
We discuss it on the forum.
