In the first quarter of next year, Oppo will offer a successor to the very successful Find X2 Pro. Called Find X3 Pro, the smartphone will be accompanied by two other models, probably a standard variant and an affordable Lite variant.

According to information relayed by Evan Blass, famous informant of the smartphone world, the Find X3 Pro is built arounda 6.7-inch 120 Hz curved screen (definition of 3216 x 1440 pixels and resolution of 525 dpi) 10-bit HDR compatible. Like Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, it will sport an adaptive 120 Hz panel. Evan Blass conjures up an impressive “Maximum of 1.07 billion native colors”.

Not surprisingly, it is powered by the 5G compatible Snapdragon 888, Qualcomm’s 5nm engraved chipset. Autonomy is entrusted to a 4500 mAh battery compatible with Oppo’s in-house fast charging, the SuperVOOC 2.0. Concretely, it takes less than 40 minutes for a complete recharge of the battery. The battery is also compatible with 30 W wireless charging (VOOC). Evan Blass teases similar performance to the OnePlus 8 Pro’s 30w wireless charging. It will therefore be possible to recharge the battery up to 50% in just 30 minutes.

The Chinese brand should put the package on the photography. On the back of the smartphone, we would find a camera composed of two 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 sensors, a 13 MPx sensor with 2x optical zoom and a 3 megapixel macro lens. This set up would allow a 25x zoom. Finally, the smartphone would be equipped with a dual antenna NFC chip facilitating payments and running Android 11 (ColorOS 11).

While waiting for more official information on the future flagships of Oppo, we obviously invite you to take this flight with hindsight despite the reputation of Evan Blass. We’ll tell you more about the Oppo Find X3 Pro as soon as possible.
