The OnePlus 9 appears in a handful of stolen photos. Several months before the announcement, this new leak confirms the design of the standard version, including the return of the perforated screen and a rectangular vertical photo block on the back. In the process, the leak discloses several key elements of the technical sheet.
This December 12, 2020, our colleagues from Phone Arena published several stolen photos showing a working prototype of the standard OnePlus 9. The veracity of the pictures was confirmed by Max Jambor, a German informant very knowledgeable about the plans of OnePlus. In addition, the stolen photos corroborate previous leaks, including the 3D renderings of 91Mobiles.
On the front side, the smartphone is covered witha screen with holes surrounded by thin borders. The cavity that houses the front photo sensor is located in the left corner. On the back side, OnePlus includes a triple vertical sensor made up of two large modules and a small lens. On the edge, we distinguish the traditional alert slider (Alert Slider), a physical button that allows you to easily change the mode of notifications and sound without having to access the interface. Note that the OnePlus logo on the back has been replaced by another, prototype requires. This precaution can sometimes prevent leaks.

The technical sheet of the OnePlus 9 is revealed
Quoting a “Anonymous source”, Phone Arena unveils more information about the OnePlus 9 technical sheet. The terminal would be built around a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD + (2400 x 1080 pixels) screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The high refresh rate is therefore no longer reserved for the high-end version.
Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus 9 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC (a chip engraved in 5nm) coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The autonomy would be entrusted to a battery of 4500 mAh. Regarding photography, the media could not obtain information. Nevertheless, Phone Arena believes that the young Chinese brand would bet on a main 48-megapixel photo sensor accompanied by a 16-megapixel lens.
