OnePlus 8T: OxygenOS update 11.0.6.7 improves fingerprint scanner and night photos

The latest OxygenOS update is now available on the OnePlus 8T. In particular, it improves the speed of the fingerprint scanner as well as the quality of night photos, in addition to correcting some bugs. However, we regret the installation of the November security patch instead of the December one.

OxygenOS update 11.0.6.7 is coming to OnePlus8T. On the program:Improved fingerprint scanner, a better rendering of night photos and the fixed some bugs. While the OnePlus 7 and 7T will have to wait until 2021 for the Android 11 update, the 8T are among the only smartphones of the brand to benefit from the features of the latest version of the operating system. This new OxygenOS update thus makes the changes requested by users.

The major novelty of this update is therefore the improvement of the fingerprint scanner, which now works in a faster and more precise. While the quality of the photos has already been improved on the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, it’s the 8T’s turn to get a optimization of its renderings in low light environments. Finally, we also note better reactions from the touch screen, greater stability of the Wi-Fi connection and the possibility of configure keyboard size in the settings.
