The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are now official. The latter is distinguished by the presence of a retractable sensor. Unlike Samsung, which opted for a perforated screen, the Chinese manufacturer has chosen a different path. Pete Lau, its CEO, provides the reasons.
A hole is too big
Manufacturers compete in ingenuity to increase the available screen area. The boss of OnePlus finds a punch too big for his taste. If they find a way to reduce it, they will choose this option for future models. In the meantime, the Chinese firm hopes to seduce customers with its premium positioning.
