If we believe information reported by our colleagues from La Libre Belgique, the operator Mobistar excludes the sale of mobile phones in a subsidized manner.
This was reported on Tuesday by the C.E.O of operator Mobistar, Benot Scheen, at a conference of the BMMA (Belgian Marketing & Media Association).
“Some competitors do, but according to our calculations, it only represents 5% of the market. There is no economic miracle: for an operator to be able to offer a smartphone for one euro, it must be possible to catch up on the subscription. However, the Belgian consumer favors formulas with a minimum commitment as shown by the success of prepaid cards 15 euros ”, he said.
