The renovation of the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue New York is complete. Under construction since June, the “flag ship” of the Cupertino firm had closed yesterday for a period of 24 hours in order to put the finishing touches on the works. It is now available to the public again this Friday at 4 p.m. (Belgian time).
Here is the new building revealed by the site The Ultimate Cyborg :
As a reminder, these renovation works provided for the replacement of the panels in order to increase their number from 90 to 15 (3 per cts). During the construction phase, the Apple Store remained open its usual and unique schedule: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
This renovation will have cost Apple $ 6 million.
