We told you on April 30 of the porting of the GPS application Navigon for iPhone (see: T-Mobile and Navigon are developing GPS software!)
Things got better after Apple announced firmware 3.0 at WWDC and ported Tom-Tom to the iPhone.
Navigon has announced in a press release that it will make available Navigon for iPhone June 17 next!
MobileNavigator, this is the name of this application, will be officially available on the AppStore on June 17! Either the same day that the firmware 3.0 will be available for everyone!
Two versions will be offered: – A lite (without directions) – A paying and necessarily complete.
Prices are not yet communicated but there’s only a little week left to fully enjoy all of this! This will make Tom-Tom competition who also announced yesterday and from WWDC the porting of its navigation software! Let us hope that this competition will play on the tariffs which will be practiced.
We discuss it on the forum.
