Last year Mozilla announced Firefox 57, also known as Firefox Quantum. It made several changes, fruit of major development efforts, such as the Gecko engine with components written in the Rust language, considered blazing fast, and where it was possible to match and even surpass Chrome in speed.

In Firefox 57, Mozilla also introduced an improvement in the CSS mechanism, also known as “Servo”, which allowed pages to be processed faster but which unfortunately was delayed in the version for Android. This CSS engine was planned for version 59, but this has been delayed further, now for v60.

Now finally available, they have started testing with, which promised to be much faster than previous versions. In a speed experiment involving versions 59 and 60, the results obtained were not significant, even ensuring that Quantum CSS was active.

The new version of Mozilla’s browser also adds the ability to view the source code of the page, in a floating menu option. The stable update is not yet available on the Play Store, but those interested can search for it in APKMirror or use the beta through the Google play store .
