modem mode limit 10 GB?

Yesterday, SFR struck a big blow by announcing a RED 100 GB mobile plan (3G, 4G) at 20 € per month. As expected, this is a limited series available until April 4 as part of the first 100,000 subscriptions.

RED-100-GoSFR specifies that the non-binding offer (and without duration condition) is not available for SFR customers still engaged who wish to switch to a RED offer. Otherwise, both old and new subscribers are concerned.

On the redbysfr.fr site where the offer is published, the legal notices show a size limitation for the modem mode which is included. Modem mode would thus only be authorized within the limit of 10 GB. Strangely, the standardized information sheet (PDF) does not allude to this limit.

Contacted, SFR told us that this was an error: " This is an error being corrected. There is no limit. "

With the RED 100 GB package, the modem mode is therefore not limited to 10 GB. It is assumed that the small communication hiccup is due to a certain precipitation.
