After activating its new Visual Voice Mail service only its new iPhone customers at the end of October, Mobistar made its smart messaging service available to all of its customers today.
It's done! Mobistar has now activated its Visual Voice Mail service for all of its iPhone customers. The latter were informed today by SMS of the activation of this new service. Upon receipt of this SMS confirming the activation of the service, the customer only has to click on the messaging icon of their from the iPhone Phone application to discover all the benefits related to Visual Voice Mail.
As a reminder, the Visual Voice Mail service allows you to listen to voice messages directly on the Apple terminal and not through a short number, such as the 5555. It is compatible with all iPhone models (provided you have at least version 9.1 of the carrier settings), and it's free in Belgium. Abroad, the data traffic generated by Visual Voice Mail is billed as normal roaming data. If the customer wishes to deactivate the data connection abroad, he will receive traditional Voice Mail notifications (One Click Voice Mail or SMS).
Have you ever been able to test this new service? If yes, what do you think?
