MIUI 12: Xiaomi rolls out Android 11 update to the Poco F2 Pro

Xiaomi has just launched the rollout of the MIUI 12 update based on Android 11 on the Poco F2 Pro. After several weeks of beta program, the Chinese brand finally offers the firmware in a stable version. We explain how to install the update on your smartphone as soon as possible.

Xiaomi lifted the veil on MIUI 12 and its novelties last May. Quickly, the Chinese firm deployed the update in beta version on a handful of phones in its catalog. More recently, the manufacturer launched the deployment of MIUI 12 in a final and stable version as part of a new wave. Among the smartphones affected by the imminent arrival of Android 11, we find the Poco F2 Pro, the mid-range of the Poco subsidiary. This was already benefiting from the beta of Android 11 since June.

As our colleagues from the XDA Developers report, several Internet users on Reddit claim to have been able to install the update to Android 11 on their Poco F2 Pro. In detail, the update weighs 3 GB and integrates October 2020 Android security patch. Depending on your country of residence, you may wait several days before receiving the firmware.

How to install MIUI 12 update on your Poco F2 Pro?
