The use of the mandatory travel certificate from your smartphone is no longer clearly authorized. It is imperative to print or reproduce it on loose paper. In a tweet published by our colleagues from Numerama, the government explains that it is studying the establishment of an official application. Information also confirms by RTL.

For the past 12 hours today, March 17, 2020, the French must remain at home to try to contain the spread of the Covid-19.

If travel is largely prohibited, the Minister of the Interior Christophe Castaner, said that it would be possible to go out to go to work when work was not possible, to take out his pets, go to a medical appointment or make purchases of first necessity.

To do this, you must download the special travel certificate provided by the government to present it to the police in order to justify your trip in the event of an inspection.

If it is possible to reproduce this famous certificate on free paper if you do not have a printer on hand, the gendarmerie confirmed on Twitter that it was possible to present a dematerialized version of the said certificate, on the screen of its smartphone.

Here's how to download and complete this precious document, from your iPhone or Android smartphone.

1. Download the certificate

Start by downloading the certificate of special travel on your smartphone. The document in PDF format can then be opened in an application so that you can fill it out and sign it.

2. Download Adobe Fill and Sign

From your iPhone or Android smartphone, download the Adobe Fill & Sign application. This free application allows you to save your personal information and your handwritten signature to automatically fill it in documents in PDF format from your smartphone.

3. Fill in your profile

Open Adobe Fill & Sign on your smartphone and go to your personal file by pressing the small icon representing a silhouette at the bottom of the interface.

Fill in your personal information in the different fields offered by the application and validate by pressing the button To close.

4. Complete the certificate of displacement

Back on the home page, press Select a form to fill and choose the source of provenance for your document. In our case, we choose File explorer since the document previously downloaded should be in the device download directory.

Once the document has been imported, zoom in on the first area to fill in and tap with your finger to open an input field. If it is possible to fill it in manually, you can also tap on the icon representing a silhouette to access the pre-recorded information and select the appropriate one.

If the text is not aligned correctly, press and hold your finger to move and reposition it correctly. Repeat as many times as necessary to add all the information requested.

Do not forget to tick the reason for your trip using the letter X or even lemoji ticked proposed by the keyboard of your smartphone.

5. Sign the document

The Adobe application is extremely practical because, in addition to facilitating the entry of information in the forms, it also allows you to affix your handwritten signature from your smartphone.

To do this, press the icon with a pen at the bottom of the toolbar, and choose to Create a signature.

Turn your smartphone to hold it in landscape mode and, using the tip of your finger, draw your signature making sure it is correctly aligned. Then press Terminate to save it.

The signature should appear in blue in a frame. Move it to the place where the signature is to be affixed and, if necessary, enlarge or reduce its size by acting on the double arrow next to your signature.

Press on Terminate to save the document in Adobe Fill & Sign.

To present the mandatory travel certificate, you can open and view it directly in the Adobe application, or export it to store it in a specific directory on your smartphone.
