Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday scheduled for this Tuesday was ultimately not there. Instead, Microsoft said it preferred push the Patch until further notice.

In general, Patch Tuesday is released every second Tuesday of the month. But for the very first time, this Tuesday February 14th was an exception. Microsoft expressed itself in a press release in which the company explains that in the face of finding a last minute problem, she preferred to postpone Patch Tuesday until later.

Patch Tuesday is used to correct bugs in the system and its applications. It also serves to close the loopholes that could have recently been discovered. Microsoft justified its decision by stating that its priority was to provide the best possible experience for its users. The company therefore preferred to take more time in order to better resolve the problem detected.

The last-minute problem mentioned is still unknown and Microsoft has not given further details. Likewise, the company has not communicated a new date for the new release of Patch Tuesday.
