Xiaomi will present its new flagship, the Mi 11, before the end of 2020. The smartphone will indeed be unveiled on December 28 and will have the particularity of being the first to ship a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Others manufacturers will also unveil their terminals before the start of 2021.
The Xiaomi Mi 10
Qualcomm recently presented its new Snapdragon 888 processor, the flagship of its catalog. The first manufacturer to unsheathe its smartphone equipped with this SoC will be Xiaomi with its Mi 11. The CEO of the brand has indeed confirmed that the terminal will be presented very soon, since the officialization will be held before the start of 2021. Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, has indeed announced on the Chinese social network Weibo that his new flagship will be unveiled on December 28. The Xiaomi Mi 11 will mark the arrival of the Snapdragon 888 on the market.
For the moment, nothing is official except the processor. Nevertheless, the leaks evoke the presence of a QHD + screen coupled with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Information is scarce, but we should know everything by December 28, next Monday. An important smartphone of 2021 that is looming, therefore.
Other smartphones announced before the end of the year
2020 is coming to an end in a few days, but the news on smartphones is not being put on hold. There are indeed several Chinese manufacturers who are preparing to announce their product before the fateful date of December 31. The Oppo Reno 5 Plus, quickly teased during the announcement of the classic Reno 5, will be shown in more detail on December 24. It too will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and will therefore be the second smartphone equipped.

Vivo will also draw sound Vivo X60 next December 29, which is still very mysterious. You’d expect it to focus on the photo, like the X51, but very little is known about the model. Finally, Honor could unveil its V40 before 2021. Nothing has been announced yet, but there is talk of a surprise presentation very soon, which may however not happen until early next year.
January 2021 will not be easy either. Indeed, Samsung intends to unveil its new range of S21. A very early presentation compared to usual (February, March) in order to compensate for a dismal 2020 year in terms of sales.
