Raw Fury announced that their Metroidvania title Dandara at got a big content update today, and it's live on the Play Store. This update is free for the game, so if you already have the title, all you have to do is update it through the Play Store to see what's new. We already know that today's update brings new explorer content that is part of the hidden realms (which consists of three new areas), as well as a new boss fight, new powers, mechanisms, and a new secret ending. New descriptions, dialogues and in-game cinematics have also been added to enhance the history of the game. As you can see, the new edition of Trials of Fear offers some significant improvements.
If you want to take a closer look at what you can expect from Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition, the trailer above shows some good gameplay. Like most Metroidvanias, you will cross a vast and detailed world filled with puzzles to solve and equipped power-ups. Like any game of this genre, these bonuses will be useful for accessing new areas that were previously inaccessible. But it's not like this stuff is unknown, as the game was originally released in 2018, which is why today's update is a surprise. The last time I heard about the game was coming to the Switch as an improved version, and fortunately, the developers released this update the same day for all platforms.
Of course, if you're interested in the full changelog, Raw Fury was kind enough to post one on their site, which I've pasted below for everyone's convenience.
