After long months of waiting, Apple has finally decided to unveil its new MacBook Pro 2016. As the various hallway noises have already announced, these new computers have a number of new features on board and among the most interesting, we will mention in particular the integration of the new bar OLED instead of the traditional function keys. In order for this touch bar to be fully functional, the Apple firm has just released a new version of macOS 10.12.1.
As a reminder, the first version of this update was released on Monday, October 24, and it is known by the build number 16B2555. So here is Apple releasing the second version with build number 16B2657. The latter is aimed more specifically at developers, who should design and develop shortcuts for this OLED bar called Touch Bar. However, it is of course possible for simple users to install it to better take advantage of the features offered by this touch bar.
For the moment, this new version of macOS 10.12.1 is not available on the Mac App Store. To be able to take advantage of it, you will therefore have to go through a manual download by going to this address. The total file weighs 1.36 GB.
