Due to the problems of anti-reflective coatings that made the trunk on the screens of MacBook Pro Retina, Apple had implemented a replacement program until October 16, 2016 and up to 3 years after the purchase of a MacBook Pro Retina.
This warranty has been extended by Apple for one year, pushing the deadline to October 16, 2017.
Indeed, this coating sometimes leaves easily if you clean your screen with a little too vigorous, even with a microfiber cloth that is supposed not to damage the screen.
After responding on a case-by-case basis to warranty claims, Apple finally resolved to provide a free replacement and refund program for those who paid for the service.
If you encounter this type of inconvenience on the Retina display your MacBook Pro so do not wait too long before making your appointment at the Apple Store or at an official partner where the program is also valid.
