Apple should unveil for the second half of 2016 three new devices, namely the long-awaited iPhone 7, the Apple Watch 2 and a new MacBook Pro. Concerning this computer, new corridor noises have recently spread and they partially confirm the rumors mentioned some time ago, in particular concerning the arrival of the OLED bar and the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
Indeed, the site 9to5Mac has just obtained from a source that it considers reliable confirmation of the presence of these two elements. According to information shared, the Touch ID fingerprint sensor is integrated into the Mac’s power button. This means that users can now only use their fingerprint to unlock their MacBook. Of course, this would guarantee more safety and comfort in the use of the device.
In addition, as rumors mentioned a few weeks ago, an OLED bar would indeed be provided in place of the traditional Function keys. This would allow users to bring more customization to the touchscreen shortcuts. Finally, if the main features of this new MacBook Pro are gradually revealed today, we do not know the exact date on which it will be presented. However, rumors suggest an official presentation as early as this fall or at the end of the year.
