It’s no secret, the native application Posts of Mac OS X, which allows, as its name suggests, to send iMessages to other iDevices users (iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch on iOS 5 and above), has long been a source of frustration for users. Indeed, although the app has changed its name and design since theiChat at the time, it did not improve much in terms of functionality and ergonomics.

While many of you would probably have been content with the current Messages app, the developer Denis Pakhaliuk just released a concept that completely revamps this OS X messaging application.

We find in this redesigned interface the “Smart Colors” function, which allows messages to adopt the style of the office. With a more flat design adopted from iOS 7, the concept imagines a Messages filter application, a totally instant synchronization between devices, new status indicators, media downloads, and more.
