According to Thorsten Hübschen, Business Group Lead at Microsoft Germany plans to release updated suite Office for Mac at CeBIT 2014 in Hanover.
Although there is little information available on a possible release date, Hübschen says more news about the future product is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2014. Microsoft originally planned to release Office for Mac at spring 2014, but it seems that the company is a few months behind schedule.
In addition, Microsoft is also said to be working on a version iPad Office (read: Microsoft Office iPad: release first half of 2014?), but we also don’t know the release date of this application.
As a reminder, the current Microsoft Office software for Mac dates from more than three years ago, in October 2010. The latest Windows version was released in 2013.
