We also learn that Microsoft will make available a new service called OneNote Clipper, which will synchronize documents between web browsers and phones. In addition, Office Lens will also be added and will be equipped with optical character recognition (OCR), to scan files at a glance using the camera of his iPhone or iPad.
However, it is not yet known whether OneNote will be part of the next Microsoft Office update planned for this year (read: Mac: new version of Microsoft Office for 2014) or whether it will be deployed on its own sooner.
As a reminder, Microsoft already offers versions of its OneNote application for iPad and iPhone, as well as for Android phones, but not yet for Mac. When contacted by Zdnet, Microsoft said through a spokesperson: “We have nothing to share”.
