League Of Legends Will Receive 120 New Skins In 2020

League of Legends developers will work hard to bring players even more skins than in 2019, Riot said. In a new video of development on the skins and events of season 10 of League of Legends, the studio reveals that it aims to launch about 120 new champion skins in the game.

As featured by our brother site The Loadout, the main customization producer of League of Legends Jonathan Bellissimoh Belliss shared a roadmap detailing the LoL 2020 Skins plans and events. In 2018, we shipped just over 80 skins to players. In 2019, we crossed the 100 mark. This year, we are trying to exceed 120 skins. Phew.

But that's not all – Belliss explains that, while Riot often prioritizes giving the most popular champions new skins due to the total number of Champs in total (148 from this story), it's hard to answer all, feared that they would have to wait years for a skin for your favorite champion. So many of these 120 new skins for 2020 will be for LoL's most nglig Champs. Sugar.

Belliss lists 16 lucky fields that will get brilliant new skins this coming year: Panthon, Barde, Skarner, Mordekaiser, Rek'Sai, Xerath, Kindred, Ornn, Karthus, Vel'Koz, Sion, Twitch, Taric, Nautilus, Trundle and Taliyah . Some of these skins have not received skins for years, including Skarner and Xerath, which received a new look for the last time in spring 2015.

The developer explains that Riot's goal is to ensure that "the main dishes can count the time that has elapsed since they got their skin in months, instead of years."

In addition, Belliss talks about the studio's plans and reflections on thematic LoL events, the future and the first current event of 2020 – Mecha Kingdoms. The skins released as part of this event were intended for the newcomer to Juggernaut Sett, as well as Draven, Garen, Jax and Leona, and arrived with League of Legends patch 10.1.

With the announcement that Volibear players will receive a free LoL Champion skin later this year, it looks like we have a lot to look forward to in terms of new looks for our favorite Champs this year.
