As usual, Apple did not skimp on the ads during its keynote last night. In addition to theApple Watch Series 3 4G, of the’Apple TV 4K, and iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, the apple brand ended its conference by formalizing the smartphone that has been agitating rumors for many months:iPhone X.

Like the new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, the iPhone X comes with a front and back glass front to allow wireless charging. As announced unanimously by corridor noises, the smartphone has a 5.8-inch OLED screen (called super Retina HD), displaying a resolution of 2,436 x 1,125 pixels at 458 ppi. IPhone X is HDR, Dolby Vision, 3D Touch and True Tone compatible.

Because of the removal of the Home button and consequently of the Touch ID fingerprint sensor, Apple had to offer a new unlocking system on the iPhone X. Entitled Face ID, it allows the user to unlock their phone with their face. Facial recognition made possible by the A11 Bionic chip (6 hearts) equipped with a neural system.

In terms of autonomy, the iPhone X should be able to last two hours more in use than the iPhone 7. In addition to wireless charging, Apple has announced the arrival of a wireless charging mat for the phone: AirPower. Its release is scheduled before the end of the year.

The iPhone X release date is scheduled for Friday, November 3, but it will be possible to pre-order the phone from Friday, October 27. Only two colors will be offered: silver and space gray, in two storage capacities: 64 GB and 256 GB. For prices in euros in France, it will be necessary to count 1159 euros and 1329 euros respectively.
