While in England where he is to be awarded the title of knight, Jonathan Ive, vice-president and head of design at Apple, said that his teams are working on a very important product, reports the Telegraph.
Jonathan Ive, vice-president and head of design at Apple, who notably owes the design of the iPod, iPhone or iPad, expressed himself in the The Telegraph. The British media took advantage of the passage of the former protg of Steve Jobs in England (on the occasion of the presentation of his title of Knight of the British Crown) to try to him snatch some words. I’ve been very secretive about Apple’s plans, but I’ve released a little info that could cause a stir. Indeed, the one we nicknamed “Jony” explained that his teams are working on a revolutionary design: What we are currently working on seems to be the most important product we have ever produced (…) but of which I can obviously not say anything .
Statements that suggest that Apple is currently preparing for the arrival of its next TV. unless it is rather the next generation of the iPhone whose 2012 vintage should undergo many changes even if it seems less likely. also note that the ranges of MacBook Air, Mac Book Pro and iMac should also undergo major changes but these products do not seem to be concerned by this statement by Jonathan Ive.
Finally, Ive wanted to work out that the death of Steve Jobs could hurt the business: We develop products the same way we did 2, 5 or 10 years ago. It’s not like a small, small team works this way. It’s a big part of us that still works like this .
