How many updates last night from Apple! After releasing iOS 10.2.1 (read: iOS 10.2.1 available on iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch) and macOS 10.2.3 (read: Mac: Apple is releasing the final version of macOS 10.12.3 Sierra), the Cupertino company posted iTunes 12.5.5.
This minor update to its free digital media library playback and management software brings nothing notable. In its changelog, Apple only states that this version “contains minor app and performance improvements”.
If you have an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and therefore iTunes is therefore almost indispensable for you, you can now update to version 12.5.5. The latter can be retrieved from the Mac App Store if you are the lucky owner of a Mac or the Apple Software Update if your machine is running Windows. It is also possible to download iTunes 12.5.5 from the official Apple website.
