TheiPhone 6S is gradually losing ground in China. Apple’s high-end smartphone is attracting less and less interest from buyers who now prefer to turn to the devices of the brand’s competitors. A situation that really does not help the Californian company, whose financial results for the last quarter report a significant drop in sales of its iPhone on the Chinese market.
It was the telephone operator China Mobile who reported the information to Digitimes. His report clearly shows the weakness of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus compared to their competitors in the high-end category. Indeed, these two phones are easily overtaken by the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge which often hold the first place.
The Chinese manufacturer Huawei’s P9 and P9 Plus models are also taking the lead, ranking second among the most efficient smartphones on the Chinese market, and only the iPhone 6S Plus is in fifth place .
If Apple wants to reclaim the Chinese smartphone market, it will have to make efforts by offering innovative products that can better compete with those of competitors. This could happen with the future iPhone 7, but nothing is sure yet since it will not be accompanied by major innovations, if we are to believe the many rumors about it.
