YouTube channel Adrianisen tested the connectivity of these four devices, and shared the results in a video. To put smartphones on an equal footing, they were connected to the same network. In this way, the Internet connection itself will not benefit any device. Thereafter, note the use of the application SpeedTest, which is used to assess the connection performance of a smartphone.

The test results are as follows (listed in order):

1) Galaxy S6 EDGE : 185.67 Mbps (download), 169.18 Mbps (upload), 8 ms (ping) .2) Galaxy S6 : 154.11 Mbps (download), 163.73 Mbps (upload), 7 ms (ping) .3) iPhone 6 Plus : 102.67 Mbps (download), 125.55 Mbps (upload), 15 ms (ping) .4) Iphone 6 : 101.67 Mbps (download), 120.68 Mbps (upload), 5 ms (ping).

We notice that Samsung’s Galaxy S6 far outweigh this test. The Galaxy S6 EDGE significantly exceeds the Galaxy S6, while the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6 have almost the same performance.

During a second test carried out on a different network, the results obtained were almost identical. The only difference: the iPhone 6 passed third in the ranking, but the scores remain not very transcendent. Apple should quickly correct the situation on its future iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
