less than an hour and a half from the presentation of the new iPhone, the Wall Street Journal indicates that it believes to know that the new device (iPhone 4S or iPhone 5) should not ultimately be equipped with a chip capable of supporting the 4G network.
According to the source, Apple’s new smartphone would integrate a similar communication chip into the iPhone 4. Questions remain, however, about the possible support of the HSPA + dj standard used in particular in the United States by the operator AT&T. A standard that is capable of waiting for bit rates close to 21Mbps, a speed almost comparable to the 4G standard. Confirmation is expected within two hours!
We discuss it on the forum.
