Bloomberg would have received information from – a source close to the file – that Apple was already well aware of the design problem of the antenna of the iPhone and would have been warned in particular last year – in the middle of designing the new craft – by one of his engineer and antenna collaborators named Ruben Caballero.
To confirm this information, this source, who wishes to preserve his anonymity, indicates that a mobile operator, who is also a partner of the Cupertino company (AT&T?), Would also raise the problem.
Steve Dowling, Apple spokesman, declined to comment on the information and just said it would not be possible to interview this engineer who does not have the authority to speak for the company. For his part, the engineer Caballero was not reachable by telephone and did not respond to the email sent by Bloomberg.
