The next iPad Pro is rumored to inherit the iPhone 11 Pro's triple photo sensor.
Apple could multiply the number of photo sensors on its tablet intended for professionals, history to best meet the requirements of the latter. Corridor noises estimate that iPad Pro 2020 will be equipped with several back cameras. Some say it will be 3 traditional photo sensors, while others speak mainly a ToF sensor which will allow better 3D modeling of a space. For now, both versions are plausible.
Until we know which one is correct, we can get an idea of what the future iPad Pro will look like thanks to the design imagined by Onleaksalias Steve H. McFly, a famous leaker. According to him, the iPad Pro 2020 could be thicker, a bit like the new alleged design of the iPhone 12 which would be similar to that of the iPhone 4 with sharp edges.
A thickening of the tablet which would partly explain by the fact that the Apple introduces several back sensors on the iPad Pro.
According to Onleaks, Apple will opt for two coatings. The iPad Pro 2020 model 11 will have a metal back, while the iPad Pro 12.9 will have a glass back panel, like the iPhone 11 Pro.
The leaker also claims that the presentation of these two new iPad Pro will take place in the spring of 2020, during Apple's traditional conference in March. We will have to wait until then to know if Apple has indeed equipped its professional tablets with a triple photo sensor.
