The platform iOS 8 serves as a base for the launch of several services that will expand the ecosystem of theApple universe to new horizons and several updates to come will allow one by one to activate these new possibilities.
Beyond that, it's the next major evolution iOS 9 which is preparing and which could be the subject of a presentation in June at the developers conference WWDC, before a release in the fall at the same time as the new iPhone.
What does this future version have in store? According to the site 9to5Mac, Apple will focus on the stability of its platform and the software optimizations.
If the platform already offers good general stability, the large-scale use of the new services will make it possible to make adjustments in order to refine its operation and correct small defects of youth.
iOS 9, codenamed Monarch, could therefore count a little less news than the last two versions but take advantage of an effort to streamline and fix bugs on the platform.
The arrival of the new OS could also mark the end of support iOS devices with 32-Bit processors to keep only smartphones and tablets running Apple A7, Apple A8 or the future Apple A9 64-Bit compatible, to make it easier for application creators.
