Last Monday, Apple has updated for the umpteenth time the page of its support for developers dedicated to the use of the App Store. The Cupertino company tells us that on December 14, 2015, iOS 9 was present on more than 70% (71% exactly) of the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
As a reminder, the last major version of the mobile operating system of the Cupertino company was installed on 66% of the devices of the Californian brand on November 2 (read: iOS 9 is installed on 66% of iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch). An increase of 5 points in 6 weeks.
For iOS 8, the adoption rate went from 25% on November 2 to 21% on December 14 (-4 points), and earlier versions of Apple’s firmware are running 7% of mobile devices of the Apple (8% in early November). At the same time, NetMarketShare released a report revealing that Mac OS X El Capitan has become the most installed version of OS X.
