Apple released the current adoption rate for iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 last night. The last time the manufacturer shared information about the adoption rate for iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 was in October 2019.
According to data provided by Apple, 70% of iPhone and iPod touch in circulation use the version of iOS 13. In comparison, last October, the adoption rate of iOS 13 was 50%. For its part, the version of iOS 12 is installed on 23% of iPhones and iPod touch, the 7% of the remaining devices use the previous versions of iOS. As for the iPhone and iPod touch that have been released in the past four years, iOS 13 is installed on 77% of them, iOS 12 on 17% and previous versions, 6%.
Regarding the iPad, the version of iPadOS 13 is installed on 57% of all iPads, against 33% in October 2019. For its part, iOS 12 is used on 27% and previous versions on 16%. For iPads released during the past four years, iOS 13 installed on 79% of them; iOS 12, on 19% and old versions, 2%.
