Before the arrival of iOS 11, you could, by a simple swipe to the right, recall a number from a missed call. It was simple, fast and practical but not very secure, since anyone with your iPhone in their possession could recall a contact from the missed call notification. In this tutorial, we show you how to protect your missed calls with iOS 11.
Be aware that it works just as well for normal missed calls as missed calls from FaceTime, WhatsApp, Viber, etc.
How to protect missed calls with iOS 11
Open them Settings from your device.
Access the section Touch ID and code. Enter the unlock code for your iDevice.
Go down to the bottom. In the game Allow access in locked mode, deactivate the option Recall missed calls by pressing the green switch next to the option.
Once the option is deactivated, when you swipe to the right on a notification of a missed call, you will be asked to enter your code or use Touch ID to call the number in question.
You can also deactivate the option Reply by message. To answer an incoming call with a message, you will then have to enter your code or use Touch ID, which can protect the privacy of any user.
