Firmware iOS 11 was recently launched in final version. There are many new features and improvements, but it seems that major problems are also on the program. Indeed, a large number of users who have installed Apple’s new mobile operating system have complained of slowdowns and a decrease in the battery life of their iPhone. There have been many negative reactions and feedback on social networks.
In a recent report Wandera.com, iOS 11 consumes a lot of energy compared to iOS 10. With the latter, the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch have about 75% of battery after an hour of intensive use while on iOS 11, it remains only about 40%. In addition, iOS 10 takes about 4 hours to go from 100% to 0% battery. For iOS 11, it only takes 1 hour and 36 minutes. All this shows that there is a big optimization problem on this new OS.
On the Cupertino side, two updates, iOS 11.0.1 and iOS 11.0.2, have already been launched. However, they seem to only partially resolve the concerns. It could therefore be that the real fixes are made by iOS 11.1, which is currently in the development phase. To hope to resolve all these problems, we will have to wait until the end of the month.
