Last night, Apple made available to developers iOS 11.1 beta 3, which has build number 15B5086a.
The update arrives a week after the second pre-version, which mainly brought two “new features”: the return of the 3D Touch gestures allowing to open multitasking and change applications, and many additional emoticons (read: iOS 11.1 beta 3 available with hundreds of new Emoji). For our part, we had seen a marked improvement in battery life compared to beta 2 on the iPhone 7.
According to the first feedback from developers (and testers registered with the free Apple platform), iOS 11.1 beta 3 does not really bring any additional functionality to the mobile operating system of the Cupertino company.
If you have already installed iOS 11.1 beta 2 on your on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, all you need is as you usually go to Settings> General> Software update to download the third beta. Apple has not yet given a date for the release of the final version of iOS 11, but it’s probably a matter of days.
