Adam Donenfeld is a researcher specializing in computer security. He is known within the underground community ofApple for his contribution to many jailbreaks. In a tweet published a few days ago, the man indirectly announced the arrival of a iOS 10.3.1 jailbreak from this summer.
The researcher has informed fans of the spitting of iOS devices that the results of his work will be communicated during the next HITB GSEC computer security conference in Singapore. The event will be held in August.
Apple recently updated its mobile operating system to version 10.3.2. Eight security breaches have been fixed with this upgrade. The flaws discovered by Donenfeld allow to obtain privileges at the kernel level, essential for the jailbreak of iOS 10.3.1.
Until then, Donenfeld recommends that users already back up their SHSH2. For those who have already updated their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to iOS 10.3.2, the security researcher recommends downgrade to the previous version while it is still signed.
Last month, Team Pangu demonstrated their iOS 10.3.1 jailbreak at another security conference in Shanghai. However, it is still not accessible to the public.
