For several weeks, the iOS 10.2 jailbreak is finally available in beta version thanks to Italian hackers Luca Todesco and Marco Grassi. Even if the tool (or rather the IPA file) Yalu developed by the two developers is still unstable (read: Jailbreak iOS 10.2 beta 7: support for iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4), it still works with almost all iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch under iOS 10.2 . The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, meanwhile, require iOS 10.1.1.
As with each new jailbreak, it takes a few weeks or even months sometimes before all the tweaks compatible with the previous seal are fully functional on the new. Especially since with the evolution of Apple’s mobile operating system, the underground community is no longer as large as in the days of iOS 7 or iOS 8.
To avoid having your phone crash by installing a tweak or an application Cydia not having been updated for iOS 10, the community has as usual put online a Google Drive document listing all the Cydia packages that you can download with confidence on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch jailbroken under iOS 10.2 .
Among the main tweaks already compatible, we find Cydia Substrate, Activator, Barrel, BatteryLife, betterFiveIconDock, f.lux, iFile, iCleaner Pro, StatusVol 2, SwipeSelection, TetherMe, or Winterboard. AppSync, which allows you to install cracked applications on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, has also recently become operational with Yalu. You will find the complete list at this address. If you have any questions about the iOS 10 jailbreak, feel free to ask them in the comments!
