If you thought voicemail messages on WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger were enough, you were wrong! The Zuckerberg team brought the audio posts to their Instagram photo platform last night and you can use them already.
Fed up with typing Instagram Des direct messages like a cheater? Well, you are in luck, because the latest version of the famous photo sharing app (version 73.0.0.22.185) now allows users to quickly send voice recordings to their friends.
To start communicating like a walkie talkie, all you need to do is open a chat thread and then press and hold the microphone icon to start the voice recording process.
Once you’ve offered your two cents, release your finger from the record icon to send your voicemail message. This will work with individual or group message threads.
Unlike walkie-talkies, your messages will remain visible, allowing your friends to respond to your recordings as you wish. The new feature comes just six months after the introduction of the video call on the platform.
Instagram Voicemail is now available for iOS and Android devices.
