Infographic: 2007-2019, the Apple iPhone is 12 years old today!

To celebrate 12th birthday from the exit of theiPhone, the company specializing in the purchase of mobile BankMyCell produced a beautiful infographic showing the evolution of Apple’s flagship smartphone (technical characteristics, units sold, price, etc.) over the years, from the first of the name to the iPhone XR / XS / XS Max released last year last.

  • January 9, 2007: Steve Jobs announces the first iPhone at the Macworld convention
  • June 29, 2007: Steve Jobs launches first touchscreen phone with integrated iPod, Google Maps and web browser
  • July 11, 2008: The App Store opens with 500 applications
  • June 19, 2009: iPhone 3GS is the first phone with video recording
  • June 24, 2010: iPhone 4 is the first phone with a Retina screen
