In a message posted recently on the forums reserved for developers, Apple warns that the iCloud service (currently in test phase) will be interrupted this September 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., Belgian time). New backups can be done after this maintenance. “A full backup will take place the next time your device connects to iCloud”, Apple said, adding that the purge will not affect email stored in Mail, contacts, calendars, and bookmarks.
