POT-LX3. Although the name sounds like a Star Wars robot, this is the model number of a future Huawei smartphone which has just appeared on the site of the FCC, the federal communications commission in the United States. This same document tells us a little more about the specifications expected on this phone. The Huawei P Smart 2019, its European and American name therefore includes:
- 2 sensors arranged vertically
- a fingerprint sensor on the back
- a notch in the shape of a drop of water.
- 6.2 inch screen
- 3 GB RAM
- 32 or 64 GB of storage
A jack!
Although nothing is announced regarding the SoC, the P Smart 2018 was powered by a SoC Kirin 659, its evolution the P Smart + included a Kirin 710, which this 2019 iteration should inherit. The smartphone covers the LTE 2, 4, 5, 7 and 28 frequency bands and hasone or two SIM cards depending on the versions. The battery has a capacity of 3320 mAh. By reading further, we also discover that this P Smart 2019 has a microSD port and a Jack plug, which is rare.
Arrival in Europe in January for 199 €
This P Smart will be launched all over the world, but the POT-LX1 registered in Russia by the Eurasian Economic Commission tends to prove that the specifications differ depending on the country, probably only the frequency bands. The trade name may also vary from country to country. As a reminder, the P Smart 2018 is called Enjoy 7S in China and Y7s in Taiwan. This new P Smart 2019 should be launched in Europe in January 2019 at a rate of 199 €.
