HP presents his EliteBook Revolve, a hybrid laptop for the professional market.
All the uniqueness of this Tablet-PC lies in its hinge which allows to rotate the screen and transform it into a touch pad. Used for a few years by HP, this system is also found on the ThinkPad X Series tablet from Lenovo. Designed for professional use, the EliteBook Revolve respects the military standard MIL-STD 810G which promises the consumer a resistant product.
Everything from an ultrabook
Ultra portable, it is articulated around an 11.6 inch slab protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 2 glass. Its definition of 1366 x 768 pixels is not very high. We could have hoped for a little more from a machine in this range. Besides that, the configuration of this EliteBook is based on a Core processor. The consumer will have the choice between i3, i5 and i7. 4 GB of RAM are added as well as an SSD of 256 GB maximum.
In the end, this PC seems to have everything of an Ultrabook. It could also have been part of this category if its thickness had not been 22 mm, whereasIntel does not allow more than 18 mm for less than 14 inches.
Available next March, the EliteBook Revolve is priceless.
